Am I the only one that thinks all these big unions need to be gone. There was a time when they were needed but now it's just about power and money… Surprise! Really 24 percent pay hike… Plus all the benefits… Most people don't have this… and yes it's a stressful job… As are so many others. I just feel their holding US hostage and it's not right… Especially since they already get more than the average person.

As a railroader, congress needs to stay out of this fight. IF they do decide to butt in, they need to listen to the railroad crews on the ground and side with us. The railroad carriers DO NOT have the best interest of the customers in mind. They're purposely slowing down and limiting freight, working bare minimum crews so they cant handle the volume of freight being shipped, penalize employees for taking time off wether it be sick time or jus to be home with sick family, and are running crews into the ground and burning them out. We worked during the pandemic non-stop, we didnt get bonuses, we didnt get days off, all we got was a ridiculous attendance policy that forces us to work and be gone even more than we already were. The people working the ground are being punished for the short comings and bad management of those who get to be home with their families every night, weekend, and holidays.
Nancy needs to be prosecuted
Let them STRIKE. The government officials have great pay, insurance why not let the workers get their pay raise. 24% over 5 years equals less than 5% pay raise.
