Hiking interest rates to fight inflation will break the government. It is simply too deep in debt to afford even 1% on it's debt. Try 7% or 15% and see how long U.S. stays solvent. It's jubilee time. The ONLY answer is universal write down of all debt on Earth. At 10 cents on the dollar, we can pay it off and fund a FUTURE.
