Most of the press conference is cops saying how good of a job they did and giving each other accolades. In fact it was to the point of I couldn't continue listening to it. After while I get sick of hearing how shiny their badge is.

Not a single Trooper with that iconic hat on. How things have changed and not for the better. What will be next the shirt change from the historic gray or will we see the tie disappear?
I understand change but it's not allways for the better. Our Troopers are a matter of respect and someone that should stand out at a distance. It has always been a great thing to see that stetson and know the professional demeanor of the Pennsylvania State Police are in charge. There is no mistaking that a citizen of Pennsylvania can rest assured as to who is in charge and who is protecting us.
I hope the day returns that a onduty Trooper outside of the car is in full uniform. It's not a class 1 uniform issue. The stetson was daily wear and uniformity, as Troopers have become less uniform in height and physical fitness why turn in a symbol of respect the iconic stetson.
When someone has to keep telling you it was competent and professional, it’s likely neither.
I couldnt help but chuckle at many of the questions asked by reporters, hoping the person at the podium would slip up. If they're good, long term crime reporters, they know full well such questions will not be answered.
