Pentagon press secretary Adm. John Kirby shared sympathies for journalist Brent Renaud who was killed during Russian shelling in Ukraine. Kirby also expressed concerns over injures sustained by Fox News reporter Benjamin Hall. Kirby said these are two examples of the “dangers in covering war.”

I don't know how anyone could look at this and not have a heavy heart until I read that a person who use to work for CNN made a horrible comment about Benjamin Hall. He stated that if Russia shot him could that be considered friendly. Apparently this man has no heart or soul.
Remember the president who called American journalists the, "enemies of the people?" I do.

I have my opinions about this conflict which probably don't sit with some or most of you, but as a veteran, I will say this: "A journalist who risks their life during a war (whether not the side they are on) is as much as a soldier who defends their women and children."
