NATO had a great footing defending western Europe; admitting Eastern European states was playing into a new regional soap opera that has vied against its wester and eastern borders for over a millennia. This strange issue highlights where NATO footing is wrong; Poland knows it would be an act of war and are not prepared to risk invasion, they rather risk an intercontinental conflict – then again it was a stupid idea that Blinken outlined which threatens to Balkanize the region and has no understanding of European balance of power.

Our countries are so weak. They are bowing to the wishes of a terrorist killer that is blowing up people's homes and apartment buildings in Ukraine and blowing up people in the middle of the streets. They do not want the West to get arms/fighter jets for Ukraine, but they did reserve the right to surround Ukraine and invade it with 200 thousand troops and tanks and now they are hiring Chechnian and Syrian fighters to fight Ukraine. So who is making this war international now ? Our countries are afraid of the bully. We lack leadership. This is why Russia is doing what it is doing because it knows the West is weak and does not react. This is why we have this situation and indirectly because of our slow actions people are dying.
