I love this! Most older Asian marriages are like this too, they're just between a man and a woman. We've been sold a story in the West that marriage should be based on passion and romance. But the truth is those things eventually fizzle out and what you're left with is love, respect and caring for one another. Why can't that also be the case here? Most marriages evolve into financial commitment, family commitment and a sense of safety…especially when you're older.
