It's every generation in a sense. kinda like how growing up works, you're a child in the household until you're like 55+, that when you realize 90%+ of congress are seniors like yourself. lol. It's not just Gen Z, as a Gen Y, we feel the same thing. you'll have to let us take turn at screwing you first before Gen Z can be in charge. LOL.

As a 30 year old who has never voted this is partially why; these people don't represent us. Choosing between pre-selected candidates chosen by corrupted parties will never solve anything

I'm concerned that these opinions are seeded in order to foster a feeling of "All politicians that I can vote for are old, so I guess it doesn't matter."
I guess that if you feel that politicians are too old, then maybe you should start to work on running.
Hmmm … thinking about Republicans doing outreach to young voters is an oxymoron . Millennials and Gen-Z are paying attention , and are LISTENING . They know current events . Such an educated electorate are anathema to the Republican party .
Lol I guess they’re just gonna do this every generation. They did this with Millennials and Gen X. “So what do you think of politics today? Oh it doesn’t really represent us” and flash forward 30-40 years and the kids say the same thing and everyone who’s older says “wow I applaud this group of young kids for speaking up”. Americans are dumb, your kids have been speaking up for generations and the elder parents and grandparents and their politicians steamroll the young ones down anyway.

There is "some" saving grace to older Politicians who have seen it all. Fine. But the time has come for a new generation of Americans to come to power. And assert their belief in Democracy. I welcome them.

the problem is many people in america have a low iq and a poor education. Its sadly young people who have caused all of the worlds problems. Its people in their 50s which have destroyed society. Its the older people who remember a country which wasnt as divided or corrupt as its become. We have more elderly voters so we need elderly politicians but we also need young ones. Make the politicians reflect the voters.
Age doesn’t matter as much as greed, corruption, lies, and mental illness.
