Corporations, or fast-food chains, cannot fall victim to anythng. They may gain or lose $$$. Consumers are the only ones who carry the purse and part their money to what's worth to them. Corporations, essentially, are not people; they are in fact business entities that have no personhood (rather in voting, which is abysmal) and thus aren't treated as human beings.
If the corporations start decrying they're being cancelled by conservatives for the ESG ratiing, woke policies, and so on, they deserve all of it. The fact FOX Business News did this is similar to all the legacy news media saying "Feminist Group may be demonized and vilified by White Males." It has happened before in the past and FOX Business News is following the same pattern, only the topic is about woke culture and DEI.
