WHY are INSIRANCE agents deciding what procedure people can or cannot have, when the only people that should be involved in this decision is the DOCTOR and the PATIENT.

Dr's wanted the code changed to reflect the more extensive and more expensive procedure. CMS can only reimburse based on the common procedure. This happens with many procedures not just this one. People have had their head in the sand.
Just another example of showing just how little a woman's worth is, in our society. Forced birthing, birth control coverage limited, pay gap still there, affordable child care that covers actual working hours, where? and an overall attitude of we know what's best for you sweety. They obviously don't and don't care.
