I really hope Root gets support from the other batters. You have to score massive runs in Australia to give yourself a chance. I just can't see England getting 20 wickets, their bowlers are not suited for those conditions. Hopefully, I'm proven wrong.

After Root's Chennai double hundred and after India series, my respect for Root has boosted skyrocketedly. Love him, expect him to do wonders in Ashes series.
Root will play much better with bat this time around in Australia. The only question is can Stokes,Butler & Malan complement him?
Its not going to be easy for Australia because Root has started playing much straighter
