Saviors is the right title for the album, and legends is absolutely the correct terminology for this band. It does not get better than have grown up w this trio of genuinely amazing artists

My first band played with Green Day in Michigan during summer of 1990 while they were on their first tour. We were all the same age of 18 and I recall that bassist Mike Dirnt had graduated high school the month prior. The show was in a small warehouse which was being used as a skate ramp, the bands set-up and played on said skate ramp. I remember the show was huge for the time, just over 100 people and there were quite a few people I didn't know which was unsuual for punk shows in that area at the time. They were following Green Day around. Afterward they all slept in a tent on the Lake Michigan shoreline. I still have two singles which Billie Joe gave to me, both now long out of print.
While it's definitely their best album in years, it's still only ok.
They already lost their edge they had from American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, instead becoming a mid life crisis band that advertises their new music on Taco Bell commercials. I'm a huge Green Day fan, but all of their music since the trilogy have been disappointing.

Greem day is a great rock band. One of the greatest. They never defined themselves as being punk rock. They have influences from all kinds of music, including punk rock.

There is nothing great about this record. It's mediocre at best. The media will say anything is good if there's money to be made.

Is punk more english like Sex Pistols and punk rock is more American like Green day, Blink ect??

Few things more cringe than middle aged men thinking they're still punk rock and relevant.
Ironic that they think they're rebelling against ht establishment, when they're really just puppets for it. Notice that Green day doesn't make songs calling out Democrats for warmongering overseas, and said nothing when Trump not only never had any wars on his watch, but he worked on Peace deals in the middle east.
