She has so many good songs on her last record… The one she dedicated to his best friend, former member and producer Kato is just so good. It's called Harley Darling, and yep he died in a Harly Davidson so that's the reason of that song. So as the first song Death By Rock and Roll, I guess both songs show both sides of their music, it can be hard rock, but also bluesy and acoustic and with a very 80 or 90s feel to it at times, ofc they do some safe stuff at parts some singles and songs can be heard and clearly known to be inspired by bands from those years, but for a current rock band to do what they are bringing up again with their mix of sound with modern and older rock is what makes them great. So far with 4 albums they have shown a ton of variety. So don't be quick to judge a book for it's cover, she may have been this famous actress when kid and as teenager but she is a true rock and roll soul indeed. Those vocals, some lyrics, and her sound with Ben Phillips whom is a great guitar player… it's worth listening for.
