And they call that new. Lol. Common sense people.

Let me take this time to appreciate Dr Igudia on YouTube who I came across through a friend of mine who told me about his natural herbs supplements which cured her diabetes disease completely and I also ordered the herbs medication which cured my type 2 diabetes disease completely
Read The Obesity Code and The Diabetes Code by Dr Jason Fung. Heโs been using this low carb and fasting to reverse diabetes in his patients for yearsโฆ
he's not "cured" of diabetes if he has to maintain a no carb diet. "curing" it means you can eat a sensible diet, including some carbs. I believe diet works, but in conjunction with exercise, you should be able to follow a normal ( balanced, not the typical American) diet and maintain proper blood sugar.
This is absolutely true!๐
Simple carbs are the issue not complex carbs (can't just lump "all carbs as bad carbs"). Fat inside the cells is what blocks insulin from being able to clear excess glucose from the bloodstream. Of course, when you take sugars out of the bloodstream by limiting your intake of simple carbs, it would seem that type 2 diabetes factors are under control, but as soon as you eat simple carbs again, it comes right back. So the core problem of reversing type 2 diabetes for good didn't really happen. The only way that has been shown to reverse type 2 diabetes is to clear the cells of excess fat and that is done by clearing excess saturated animal fats from the diet. This allows insulin to clear the blood as it should. And type 2 diabetes doesn't really "run in the family". It's more like "no one runs in the family"…
Nothing new low carb diets have always been recommended for t2d (type 2 diabetes). As a matter of fact low carb and reduced oil like not eating a lot of fried food can pervent t2d in ppl who are at higher risk: blacks, latinos, hawaiians, pasific islanders. And fried foods/fast food are increasing the rate of t2d in healthier nationalities like east asians, middle easterns, mediterrians. Info brought to you by a t1d. Good luck.
Never thought I could get rid of my diabetes condition, until a friend of mine introduced me to Dr Obinyan on YouTube who cured me from diabetes with his herbal supplement…

Wow what new and cutting edge information ! Wow who knew cutting carbs helps cure diabetes?
I thought this was already a known fact. ๐ค
This study is totally and shockingly misguided! Itโs saturated fat that causes insulin resistance and T2D. Simply lowering carbs.does not reverse this ( only masks the T2D ) as can be seen in the abnormal Oral Glucose Tolerance tests individuals on the stated high fat low carb diet have ( if they choose to get one ) despite having normal HbA1c levels.
1 IN 10 people have pre diabetes & don't know it. Are YOU one of them?
It takes a new study to learn that diet can take care of (mostly reversible) type 2 diabetes?
Dr. Jason Fung has been talking about this for years!
I've been eating a low carb, low glycemic diet for over a decade and I haven't been able to lose more than 20 pounds. There's only so much you can do with diet. We need to emphasize exercise and diet. We need to encourage people to get up and move around constantly. That 30 min walk really should be an all day situation.

Animal fat causes type 2 diabetes
These guys ever heard of Dr. Jason Fung?
Keto and Low Carbers have known this for 15 years. Good to see mainstream media and American Doctors catching up.
Um uh this is general knowledge ๐คwhy the need for the study ๐ ๐คฃ๐ ๐๐ I mean are there really people out there who think they'll be fine eating big Macs and ice cream for their entire life?๐คthe gene pool has gotten quite shallow around here lately ๐ ๐คฃ๐ ๐๐คฃ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐
How is this "promising"? Reversing diabetes with diet has long been proven! Said otherwise bad diet is the cause of diabetes
Conspicuosly absent in this clip is zero attribution to the well established name(s) for this diet discipline. Namely a Ketogenic, or Ketovore, or Carnivore diet. Thereby NBC cheats the long overdue credit to the pioneers of this diet, including physicians, dieticians, et al who have sufferred much abuse for their advocacy of this diet.
For NBS to present this diet as if now the result of this lab study makes it fake news, not because this "low to no carb" diet is fake. It is not fake. It works. But instead NBC makes it fake news because does not give proper attribution.
So what is the actual diet?
This is what the intermittent fasting, keto, and low carb high fat communities have been doing for quite some time now, with great testimonials of reversing T2 diabetes and insulin resistance, and manageable and consistent excess fat/weight loss. Yet, they've often been discredited. Maybe now more people will be looking into dietary changes. You've got to eat as according to your body's requirements. Eric Berg on youtube is a great resource for these kinds of dietary changes.
LOL… Really! "New Study"? Except for rare instances like pregnancy, typeII is 100% lifestyle choices. This was common knowledge over 30 years ago. I have witnessed the turnaround personally many times. It takes about three weeks. Most of society with the help of advertising wants to blame it on something else. Then of course we have the glut of modern physicians that are no longer taught "how to think" but rather "what to think".
I fail to see how this is new information. Weโve known this for decades. My grandmother restricted her carbs since the 1950s, and she died at the age of 85 from an unrelated Illness.
Hahahaha breaking news insurance is welfare for the lazy
This is nothing new, diet regulation was the standard treatment in the days before modern medicine. Back in the 50s, I had a neighbor that used diet regulation rather than Insulin to regulate his Blood Sugar.
