A Purdue University student was arrested on a murder charge after he allegedly killed his roommate in a residence hall. Varun Manish Chheda, a 20-year-old senior, died of “multiple sharp force traumatic injuries” authorities say. WTHR reports.

My friend's first year dorm experience at Purdue was horrible. Even he was a freshman he was assigned to an off-campus apartment which is 20 minutes bus ridding away from class buildings and dinning halls. His dorm mates had lots problems too. Nobody but him cleaned the room and took out trashes. Some played loud games to 2 to 3 clock's in the morning. One even smoked weeds in the room. The school and the resident assistant had no control over the situation and provided no help to solve the conflicts. The poor management from the school could be one reason that causes the tragedy.
