As Ukraine makes advancements in the war against Russia, President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization of Russia’s military, saying that the country’s reservists are being called to join the fight. NBC News’ Erin McLaughlin reports from Kharkiv, Ukraine.

I'm sure Putin's next move will be full mobilization. This is when Russians would finally wake up and boot him out of power.

I think a partial mobilisation is where you create a 40km long convoy of military equipment then stop them half way towards your military objective… Then later leave them and go somewhere else … It is a strange way to demilitarize somewhere you want to demilitarize.. By sending lots of military equipment there.

This Putin's announcement of Partial (why not Full) Mobilization is a sign of Russia's Failure in Ukraine, it is a sign that Manpower is depleted and there is an Urgent Need to Enlist Soldiers for the Frontline, his stubborn refusal to call his Military Adventure a "war" and arresting Russians for calling it so, and now his about turn eating his own words has brought shame and disrepute to Russia and Particularly to himself, and his repeated Threat to use Nuclear Weapon if there is existential threat to Russia, which could now include the Donbass the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic which Russian Separatists backed by Moscow are calling for a Referendum which outcome to be part of Russia is almost certain to materialize, and which he would point out is an Existential Threat to Russia and therefore would legitimise a Nuclear Response, for which the Western Powers Particularly the US must give a Robust and Unequivocal Response, otherwise he would assume that Joe Biden is Very Weak and would Buckle under his Threat.
