Florin Silberman "NATO has no right" is an overstatement. Anyone has a right to defend others against aggression. Just because Ukraine isn't in their membership doesn't mean they can't decide to help Ukraine. If they don't, and they won't, we may look back on this slow invasion of Ukraine as being a missed opportunity to put Putin in his place when we had the chance. Anyone who thinks Putin is done after Ukraine, you don't know Putin. Next he'll try to bridge the gap to Kaliningrad. Then he'll undermine the Baltics, not through invasion at first, but through subversion and misinformation, to weaken them from within (like he's been doing in the U.S.). Then he'll concoct some lie about Russians in the Baltics needing protection provided by Russia. It will be a gradual progression, not an invasion that triggers NATO. Kazakhstan is another of his goals. So is Moldova. And then he can work on tying into Serbia. If he lives long enough to accomplish that then he'll work on the other old eastern block nations. This is his long-term plan: restore Soviet dominance.
MY ANSWER : Yes, NATO has the right to do anything they want but being the North Atlantic TREATY Organization there is a treaty between members that does not include involvement in non NATO member affairs. And Ukraine is not a member. This is not some hulk getting involved in a fight between two street gangs.
NATO can and is helping Ukraine by sending weapons. They are very cautious not to do anything else that could run conter the treaty or be interpreted by Russia as a physical attack.
You obviously do not like Putin and want him put in his place. Well, in Central and South America we have put in place lots of little generals that their own people do not like but are protected by us. It seems that your reasoning is limited to saying that we are always right and they (whoever they are) are always wrong.
You do not know (and neither do I ) what Putin's intentions after Ukraine are. I would venture one thought: that Russia has a weak economy and is not able to go after multiple adventures and has no resources to get to Berlin or Rome. I admire your crystal ball and the strategic plan that you have developed for Russia. Maybe you should try to make some money by selling it to the Secretary of State Blinken or e/Mail it to the president directly.

A majority of the Russian people understand Putin wants to take back a piece of Russian real estate that the Soviets lost at the end of the Cold War. He is fighting this war as a war ought to be fought. America and its allies did the same sort of indiscriminate bombing in WW2 in both theaters of war.
