Putin Says Russia Has Not ‘Lost Anything’ Over War In Ukraine



Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia had not “lost anything” as a result of the war in Ukraine. Speaking at an economic forum in Vladivostok, he said all of Russia’s actions were designed to strengthen the country’s sovereignty and were aimed at helping people living in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.

  6. Arguably they had more sovereignty before they decided to make the decision to go into Ukraine. Now they have to operate under the weight of sanctions. Likely they're going to lose the territory they gained after 2014.
