So the very handy "handyman" did it? Wow. I think the husband knew for at least 2 years (about her/their affairs, and she knew he knew from 2020 when she didn't even come home one night and he reported her missing that one time, plus her flirting/ sexting was pretty public and traceable). She was hanging out in bars etc on weekends and very late "alone" very regularly. Didn't her husband miss her, being in bed alone those nights while she was hanging out in the city and in local bars? The husband didn't even bother to post a reward after her murder and never commented on his personal devastation like a normal grieving loving hubby would under those circumstances of her murder. I bet the husband's probably not that sad because he probably felt he "couldn't" or wouldn't divorce her. I feel sorry for the sons and have no respect for their father. Sorry. Both spouses paid for their selfishness with her life. As for her, she was likely lost and stuck before this happened to her. The husband held onto her anyway by choice and knowingly. The husband wasn't shocked or fearful and knew she didn't love him. That's a dangerous game people play when they stay together for the sake of their kids, religion or finances and at the same time they're turning a blind eye to the potential consequences of maintaining appearances and trying to have your cake and eat it too when that cake is no longer very sweet to you.
Clearly that perp was a jerk on the edge and probably obsessive like the news said he was with trying to look like Slash… but she liked him and the attention plus the 2 years of affection she might not have been getting at home (the marriage was DYSfunctional in reality) and she kept seeing him intimately. What a sad ending to a well to do life. Never think you know what is happening behind anyone's smile or behind closed doors. While her husband was away she was playing and breaking up with her lover cost her life. Her affair with a loser wasted her life, has left their sons without a mother, and perhaps her husband in shock (did he suspect anything?), was he having an affair himself? Did she make a date to meet the killer after her show and drinks at the bar? I wondered how a 13 year old was home alone and mom didn't stop to see him first, to see if he was okay. I guess we will find out if she actually greeted her son when she came home or if she went straight to the basement to break up with the killer. Such a tragic ending to a beautiful life.
