Look at the inflation. Yeah the 24% is basically for 8 years because the negotiations take 3 years. Btw RR workers pay 15% extra for retirement. After all the deductions they basically make $1,500 take home every two weeks. I bet it’s easy to trash the people that break their back every day and working while sick.

You've just been called into work for a 12 hr shift, you have 1 hour to show up.
Now imagine this being your life…..being called in anytime, any day. You've got 13 years of service in and 3 weeks of vacation…..oh and 2 kids, a dog, a wife, and a home to take care of. Oh you got covid earlier this year and took 5 days off? 2 weeks of vacation left, took a day here and there to do things with the kids? 7 days left. Ah your wifes mom died, 5 days left. Hey go have a nice 5 day vacation with your family. 0 days left. Oh you're sick again sorry gotta come in…..kid is sick? Doctors appointment? Car troubles? Sick? Went to taco bell the night before and have the runs? To bad no vacation left
They should go on strike before november. Every American should band together and go on strike before November due to this Administration.

These are negotiations between a union and a company or companies. Biden needs to keep his nose out of the negotiations. All he will do is screw up the whole thing. If Trump had been involved, the whole thing would have been over with. Trump knows how to deal with unions and employees; he has worked with people his entire adult life.
