I am not from the US. I am following Vivek’s campaign with interest. I want to suggest another idea for him to popularize. The USA should stop giving green cards to anyone who has entered the country illegally or overstayed a visa. It should also stop giving citizenship to the US-born children of illegal immigrants. Grant work visas for people who need to come to the USA for IT jobs, agriculture, and any other area with a shortage of hands. If they don’t work or pay taxes, the visa should not be renewed. Grand three-year renewable work visas for people who claim political asylum and reassess their cases at the time of renewal. If there is no way of getting a green card through sham marriages, DACA, etc., the numbers coming through the southern border will drop.
Vivek, you will have your time. Maybe 2028?? MAGA 2024!
