Love RAND but we should simply eliminate those things the government shouldn't do
We could cut the government budget by 20% and still be fine. Government wastes probably 50% of every dollar it spends.
And this child tax credit for people on welfare with children numerous children is irresponsible behavior on the adults that have the children that cannot afford them so by giving them this child tax credit and everything else they get it is rewarding irresponsible Behavior while the people that are responsible for their reproduction are getting penalized paying all their bills they have their children they do get a tax credit for but it wasn't the taxpayer paying for that tax credit it was them working to pay for that tax credit
Why is it that a person that is on Welfare that has four kids gets the child tax credit when everything was given to them housing food money's. So why should somebody get a child tax credit when everyone else is flipping the bill for them the American taxpayers are left holding the bag
What's amazing is companies and corporations have made cuts to their budgets but the federal government can't do that and it makes more money than anyone

Housing cost as cheap you get a house worth the money. And they got lots of bourbon. Larry would be nice to have you as a senator or a representative in the house. The 16th Amendment put us in chains when it gave the Congress the ability to tax Americans without any limitations. A convention of the states to amend the 16th amendment to have a maximum 5% tax on consumption only or God forbid follow the Constitution which calls for a tax on impost and excise not individual income is the real solution to this BS.
The usa was destroyed long ago ! When it took the 10 commandments and prayer out of the court houses and especially the schools !

Social Security is not an entitlement it was sold as insurance that is paid into the system for the older people to be able to live. If you want to take it away just give people, all the money they paid into it and let them make their own investments.

Cut the federal employees down. Put a freeze on hiring for 5 years. Cut travel for government employees and use zoom calls instead. That alone would put us back in the black 👍
