That's what happens when you become greedy.
They should freeze her assets and give money back to the people that she stole from.
Wealthy people stealing money from those with a lot less. Nasty cow!
These so called reality celebrities, these pretend personalities with hair and makeup that so many people follows shows the reality of it all ,that these people are nor to be trusted because they're not who they are, they have no morals,or in this case no money,or why would she be scamming elderly people?. They all glam up looking pretty with nothing else to back it up. These reality celebrities don't impress or interest me with their pretentious ways and behaviour, they're far removed from my world!.
She looks like the female version of the Crimson chin
Back to school, kiddos. See you in 6 years. Don't catch chickenpox. Hope you don't get hurt nor the shingles of any age. Stress over what, Covid-19? Crank up the cold cemetery sprinklers? What first communion wafer? Sorry, what sobriety test? You want ageism? You want a lie detector? You want a cigarette in your nose instead of a nose job in Tehran. The air is polluted enough. Salaam
Couldn't out Kardashian the Kardashian,s,so sad…not.
..does the jail have a mall?…
The sad thing is she probably got more jail time than Sam bankman fried will get
She only got six years? Crime does pay. She probably has enough money stocked away that six years is nothing. She should have got the book thrown at her. I am so tired of white collar criminals getting away with stealing millions while the average home burglary gets significantly more time.
Well, gosh-darn, were have I heard that before? Pillaging the weak and poor. I guess this is what happens when you can't get a presidential pardon. So, the law does work?
Another frumpblican, I heard.. ..
Did she had to pay too? Because her being in prison doesn't really make Grandpa hole again does it?
Shah Shank
“Shaw Shank” 😂
So she's a tv star where she makes wealthy income but still decides to swindle elderly people? Nothing is worse than a rich or wealthy person stealing
Well good.
I don't understand why some people just thought they could get away with crime
P.o.s.
Swindleding elders through telemarketing schemes and she’s what again?
Blacks will always be criminals and then blame everyone else for their mistakes…
That's all she gets for stealing from the elderly?????????? She is a disgusting, nasty 🍕💩
I have lived in Salk Lake City, Utah my entire life and I work at a very upscale day spa. I have never had the displeasure of meeting someone so self entitled and brutally nasty my entire life and I deal with spoiled wealthy women every day. It didn't matter how kind and professional that Mrs. Shah was treated she was always telling someone how important she was and that everyone else was just jealous of her money and beauty. It was impossible to make her happy and everytime she was ready to leave the spa she announced that she would not be back. It's too bad she couldn't keep her word with that either. At one point she demanded that she required armed security to escort her from her vehicle to the spa in case paparazzi were waiting for her or fans wanted to touch her with their dirty, disgusting hands ( Her words not mine).
I don't believe for a second that she is sorry for anything other than getting caught and having to pay for her crimes. The sentence was extremely lenient compared to how many lives she destroyed and the unneeded hardships she imposed on thousands of elderly people for pure greed. If she got what she deserves, she would be serving life and subjected to hard labor because that's exactly the sentence she gave her victims. There is a consensus that all we can hope for now is that her and her family will leave Utah forever.
I believe that their should be the following changes to our laws for financial crimes. 1. If your victims are elderly or intellectually disabled the criminal should be sentenced more harshly due to a special circumstance. 2. if it can be proven in court that other adults (spouse, parent, sibling, adult child etc)
greatly benefited from the illegally obtained money and there is not another legitimate source of this income. They will be indicated and have to face the same penalties as the originator of the scam. 3. All assets should be sold at auction and the money from the sale to be given to the victims as a small compensation for their financial losses. 4. If the defendant and/or defendants family members are in the United States illegally, on a work permit, school permit or a visa will be deported immediately, any and all permits and Visa's revoked with no opportunity whatsoever to return to the United States under any circumstances.
If people are punished harshly, very few will still commit crimes. I know that this concept is difficult for some members of Congress to understand because according to her, crime statistics increased because of more law enforcement on the streets and unemployment is down because everybody has two jobs so you're earning two paychecks. Plenty of money to go around. There's no reason to steal, everything's great. If you believe that these potential laws are too harsh, try to look at it through the eyes of an elderly person that has lost all of their money just because they trusted somebody. These victims have no opportunity to re-enter the work place to try and regain those funds that were stolen. Depression, suicide ideology, high blood pressure that leads to heart attack and stroke just to name very few are a deadly side effects of these crimes. Some people say, it's not that bad. The criminal hasn't killed anyone. I would challenge anyone to look in the mirror and imagine what would happen if all of your money and possessions were stolen. Now, do it one more time but imagine you're eighty years old
