Either I am innately immune or covid19 is not as contagious as they say (no I am not asymptomatic), I have taken care of family and friends who had it and they recovered with no side affects, I have been to rock concerts, conferences and travel, since I am not vaccinated by the political science I should be dead. However I am healthy, I workout, speed walk every day 4 miles and bike every other day. Don't get me wrong I do test prior to travel, its always negative; of course last time I had the flu I was 10 years old, ever since then never gotten sick again that was over 30 years ago. I think there needs to be way more research on the biological (gain 0f function) strain. Science is about logic, evaluate it using Occam's Razor principle removing conjecture. Well now I am 2 cents broke.

I have a weakened imune system and previous heart issues, as a result I have a long history of blood tests, after receiving 2 doses of the coved vaccination I now have type 2 diabetes, I had no previous glucose issues, I do not regret taking the vaccine at all but as I know of two other cases like mine I believe their certainly is a connection that now requires me to take medication, I will take the boosters as it helps to protect me in my situation and accept diabetes as a side effect, (their is most certainly a connection as far as my non qualified opinion is concerned)

Are they saying that a person with covid 19, during only the acute symptom phase, is 40 percent more likely to develop type 2 diabetes spontaneously, within a few days to a few weeks? How many people actually became diabetic type 2 during that window, without any other contributing factors? The story is not saying that after a person has had covid that they are more likely to become diabetic. Only the acutely symptomatic period of time is the time of diabetes risk??? Really?
