A record number of climbers from across the globe were issued permits in an attempt to take the dangerous trek to reach the summit of Mount Everest. NBC News’ Janis Mackey Frayer spoke with two climbers who were able to reach the peak.

How many of them will die because the window will close to go and be back safely? They will stay there as markers for the next climbers. You are on your own at Mount Everest. There are no friends and no colleges and especially no employees and employers. Just because you have paid a company to help you to climb it doesn't matter they will help you if you have an empty oxygen bottle to bring you safely down. No one will know that they f you up. took your money and left you to die. The government doesn't give an f about the climbers. They got the money…
