In Normandy, France today they are celebrating the largest amphibious assault in history. On this day in 1944, the largest seaborne invasion in history occurred killing more than 4,400 troops. D-Day led to the liberation of Nazi-occupied France and eventually Hitler’s defeat in Europe. Today, we remember the lengths America took for freedom.

Wow thats miraculous. My grandfather was also in France, but on the German/Austrian side. Luckily he survived wounded.

Once upon a time, Americans fought and died to defeat fascism. Now, they're supporting it.
Majority of the troops and equipment/resources on D-Day were actually British Commonwealth.

And now this year 2022 Germany is ranked 15th in the world for its government- defined as a Full Democracy. Japan is ranked 17th- a Full Democracy. The USA is ranked 26th in the world- defined as a Flawed Democracy. What a disgrace to these brave men and our Nation . Many who sacrificed their lives
I had 3 great uncles from the poorest parts of Kentucky that enlisted and by Gods graces somehow all survived Normandy. They wanted to serve their country and see something other than Kentucky. They had no idea the the horror they would bring home with them. Cecil, Cooge, and Curt would never talk about it and were never the same.
Remember the Greatest Generation! We will never forget their sacrifice for what they had done.
They would be appalled at the forces trying to take down America today including this station
