As an actor I know how hard it is to finish a show/performance and it’s agonizing because you go into the psychological state where you are your character not who you are. You build this entire family, relationships and it’s absolutely depressing especially for someone who did this for a decade with the same cast. You are literally living a life that not your own and become attached. And then one day you leave and finish. This is one of the reasons why soooo many actors go into addictions.
I was volunteering in a woman’s center for addiction, this girl told me crying “How I wish I never tried it”
I asked her what advice would she give to other girls; she replied: “Don’t ever try drugs because you would like it”
People should be horrified terrified of drugs, talk to kids about it, show them what addiction does to a human.
