As an elder millennial, one of the few advantages is having lived through the Great Recession. My advice. Reduce unnecessary expenses, increase your savings by investing in financial markets and do not sell. One thing I know for sure is that diversifying your income can help insulate you from much of the craziness going on in the world.

At least some of the bill for the IRS was to hire replacement workers as the older IRS agents retire. Of course Republicans want to shift all taxes to the poorest rung in society by the look of their regressive new tax bill. A great way to soak up all the money in the economy by doing a thirty percent sales tax while keeping the old tax system in place the economy will fall apart either way.

They don't want inflation to subside because they get more tax dollars the higher the cost of goods is. They don't have to directly raise taxes on the middle class because that's what inflation does.
