I support education for all. I am a Republican and I think that for a student that wants to study and is willing to discipline to get a higher education, Universities should be affordable. I am against an elitist education or that only rich kids and foreign students with rich parents are entitled to get a University degree. Universities should lower their monthly rates for American Citizens. Colleges and Universities should be affordable to all students who are willing to study

How many PPP(paycheck protection program) loans have been forgiven compared to whopping 43 M student loans. Besides from this unthinkable, unmatched scales in comparison, PPP recipients had the situation they were in against their will, or it was completely involuntary, like emergency situations during Covid, while student loans borrowers were fully aware their responsibility and obligation to pay them back sometime in the future; they had pledge to pay during the contractural signing. And students who had received education in college whether they liked it or not, and whether it ultimately led to the success of their career in the relevant fields, they have a heck of opportunities to pay off. Even Obama was not against bailout of enormous scale in the financial meltdown and subsequent crises, like big financial corp and likewise entities like AI (American International) and JP Morgan right? Too big to fail he said then.

Yeah businesses that were involuntarily shut down are there to make money, they are proven revenue more or less. Students are students. There’s no ROI guarantee because of your student status. The administration just burned money while comparing it to money that was, in essence, substantive.
