The vast majority of humans do not understand the context of the world they are living in. We are in a post Ice Age thaw, but the ice age cycle is not over. There have been TWENTY, yes 20 glaciations, aka Ice Ages in the last 2 million years, and there is no indication that this is stopping naturally. During the last ice age which thawed out only about 11,000 years ago, the oceans were 400ft lower and huge areas of land that are now exposed today were covered in ice that was several miles thick. So you better step on the gas and keep the planet warmer than it should be, if you know what is good for you. Fools.
