It's due to their presence, that makes it a port of entry…..Border Patrol don't serve in the same capacity as an Entry;
if anything, a deterrent, between Ports of Entry, which begs the question regarding the Office of Field Operations, under the umbrella, and presence of the Customs, and Border Protection Agency across the whole Southern Border.
