I have a Bachelors in Culinary Arts. I never liked cooking with gas as I felt it had a negative impact on my health. I’m all for the ban!

Yep. Gas stoves are far superior, relative to gastronomy, but the world is dying. We are all going to have to make some painful changes if we want there to be a world for our children and grandchildren. We all need to grow the F up.

This is idiotic.
We have massive amounts of pollution from so many industries, seriously dangerous levels of pollution from oil drilling and production, coal mining, chemical, plastic production, clothing manufacturing and they decide to pick gas stoves to go after?
Maybe make exceptions for restaurants, but really I don’t care that much myself. Don’t really want my kids getting asthma. So maybe induction nudges out gas for me.
The change in the quality of the food doesn't matter but gas stoves are nice to have when there's a blackout
Induction cooking is great, but I would guess it's not simple to replace everyone's stoves with them so quickly.
