Welcome to Hollywood this happens time and time again no matter what race you are. Writers always put a spin to capture the heart strings. I'm still upset that when I grew up I found out that ET was not a real Alien!! I'm mad!!! How could Hollywood make me cry and fall in love with a fake alien! I want to sue Stephen Spielberg! So that is the last thing they deserve is someone or a married couple who mentors then and really really puts their heart and soul into them helping them to have a better life in the future, only for them to backstab the person and take whatever they worked sooooo hard for because they feel they deserve it because they made a big impact on them it is basically the people who mentor them that they own business and whatever
It’s because of people who give them an opportunity and respect and kindness in life that is why they work sooo hard to be successful and hopefully own a business to help other people in their shoes too, so he could not have become a big big football star without those peoples help I completely agree
But he works hard by himself too he never had to work soooooo hard to be a football player he could have just worked in a dollar store making minimum wage, but he wanted to be someone bigger not only for other people but for the people who don’t feel there’s much of an opportunity out there especially living on the streets
So yeah they do deserve credit, the people who took him in and everything but they don’t deserve to have everything he worked sooooo hard for that isn’t right that isn’t fair, dogs get treated better then he does like it’s extremely unfair and I honestly hope they get the book thrown at them in court for doing that to him

I liked the blindside movie when it came out. But honestly, it really did seem like the Toueys trying to be such good guys and help this poor defensive black kid. Idk the whole movie just had that vibe. They were rescuers and going to save him. It was odd that they were "adopting" someone who was old enough and big enough to be on his own. But I didn't question it since they were helping him get into college and get a scholarship or whatever.. (its been years since I've seen it so i don't remember) But even so.. I felt like the actor portraying Michael was uncomfortable/awkward playing the role. Like he was playing it for the character but also for himself.
