Ya there is alot more fires because there is so many more bikes now. I use the lipo4 chemistry which has many advantages, but slightly larger. And sodium ion is looking very promising. I also have a stainless battery box just in case, I always use a bms . My flashlights are lipo4 also. IMO large battery's belong outside , just in case. I'm not really a believer in Regen charging because I will damage the battery if you change when its too cold and I need smooth braking. My battery is also incased in a water proof box . Just being near the salt water can corode unprotected cells 🏍️
