For me worst purchase for Mumbai are this two.
1-Kishan is the worst player for MI don't get me wrong I'm not a hater but tell me 3 games where he scored 20 runs back to back since he joined MI
for price of 15 Cr he needs to score at least 15 runs every game and he has failed this season he is not even worth more than 3 Cr
2-Archer one I can pass but still he will be available in next year is a question mark
3-Qdk ,Rahul chahar were the most underrated player for MI they didn't got the appreciation they deserve but kishan got the Hype for no reason
4-should focus on One more all-rounder if selling hardik pandya
5-Pair someone with bumrah
8 cr boult +6.75 crs quinton = 15.5 crores kishan still in loss of 75 lakhs any leyhman Or any newbie can understand what a blunder mi has done.
Paying 23 cr for archer and kishan is too off a hefty price they can get good and many players in that amount
Mumbai’s auction is bad since they decided to buy Ishan . Leave quinton and buy 3-4 crore kishan for 15 crore 🤦♂️.
Why the hell they invested in archer
Mumbai lost the auction when they bought Ishan for 16 crores.
If Mumbai can do the following next year. They will be one of the top contenders for the cup.
1. A good foreign all rounder like Ben Stokes or Sam Curran
2. A brilliant foreign bowler along with Jofra, some one of the same quality as Trent Boult
3. A good Indian pace bowler – someone like Tyagi, Natarajan somebody like that.
4. A good Indian spinner –
5. A player from NZ as their luck factor.
