Parents in the small town of Rantoul have learned of a local daycare worker testing positive for monkeypox. This is the third known case in the county. State health officials declined to name the facility but vowed to screen every child at risk on Friday. The CDC is now tracking more than 75,000 cases, with the largest outbreaks in New York, California, and Florida. The Biden administration, which this week declared a public health emergency, comes under pressure to make more vaccines that remain in short supply.

I have lived in Rantoul at least three times, and spent a good portion of my 74 years in Champaign County. It is not really rural. The county has farmland, but also a population of over 200,000. Rantoul is more of a suburb of the twin cities of Champaign/Urbana. The county is also home to the University of Illinois, the largest university in the state. It is quite cosmopolitan.
Using what test? Surely not the pcr. Wich the developer himself said Its not designed to test for any viruses.and who the CDC said The test is so innacurate that we can't certify it?.
