If the US sends fighter aircraft to Ukraine, that will be an act of war and compel Russia to consider destroying Washington DC among other cities. If they were successful, the United States would cease to exist, but Russia will still be a country no matter what. Even if a nuke hit the Kremlin and St. Petersburg. . .

I love how when they say fighter aircraft they show a video of a more close air support role aircraft in the form of the A-10 Thunderbolt II (AKA the Warthog). While great for blowing up targets on the ground and turning them into pink mist with its GAU-8 or other armaments such as a JDAM. It sucks at being able to avoid SAM sites (Due to a large radar cross section), air to air engagements (Due to a more cumbersome maneuverability compared to actual fighter aircraft), and evading any incoming AA missiles (Due to its low speed which will make it easy pickings for any Russian SAMs). Show a damn F14, F15, F16, F22, or F35, those would fit that combat role.
this is either a small victory for Ukraine, or a very strategic scheme for Russia…
