I've noticed a lot of people noting her shoulder star tattooes as 'commie tats', which is incorrect. Russian gangsters wear those star tats on the front of their shoulders (and usually knees) to signify they do not bow before any person (basically their version of a %1 biker). Not only did this make her a target for the Russian government, but also the Russian underground, which considers this a severe insult. If she is sentenced to any length of prison, we may not see her ever again due to this. Getting those star tats, then going to Russia, was a very foolish move on her part.
Exactly how is he/she/they (which pronoun do I use if I don't know what she prefers to be called?) being 'illegally detained'?
