As Ukraine lacks air superiority it risks static concentration of force. It might however adopt the old "fire brigade" model used by the US military in wars past whereby armored "task force" formations would react to and strike areas in the battlefield rather than defending a fixed position. Concentrate what armor they have to counterattack attempts at Russian units trying to breakthrough. Such task forces would operate as a strategic reserve force. Do not dissipate armored mobility as the French did in WWII whereby they had more tanks than the Germans = but spread themselves out too thinly trying to hold ground rather than using them as intended.

Mariupol may be lost, but Ukraine can still deny Putin a land bridge to Crimea by retaking Kherson Oblast and then fighting East. Destroying the high span of the Kerch bridge will help prevent reinforcement from Crimea. Ukraine still has a lot to gain towards a negotiated settlement.

They were kind to them in Russia because they are ethnic Russians and not ethnic Ukrainians. Most of the people East of the River Dneiper are sympathetic to Russia. Cities like Mariupol, Berdyansk etc excluding kharkiv. My cousin volunteered and after realising that most of what he thought was wrong he gave up and has quit tho not back to Munich… They play to whichever music when in reality they are sympathetic to Moscow. Without the Azov battalion and ethnic Ukrainian troops they would have handed over mariupol gladly to the Russians.
That's because Russia is going to turn the Ukrainian to a oil slick but you never know it by listening to the mainstream media because they tell us everyday Russia is losing and the ukrainians are winning and therefore the ukrainians fight to the death because when you tell someone their winning they will fight to the death even though they're absolutely not.
