The US mercenary fighters joined the Ukrainian Nationalist to create a problem and attack Dunbas( which UN agreed that they can have their autonomy and the US doesn't respect), so the US gets its wish of war. The US made up their mind that they don't want peace in Ukraine because of too many problems at home, also can sell arms , have more influence in Europe and can replace Russian gas with their too expensive gas.
