It was quickly determined that the plane headed not toward Ukraine to "exchange prisoners" but towards Moscow away from Belgorod. May be they want to "exchange" there? By the way – from Belgorod to Ukraine is 40km – to transport that distance by the plane? – and to land where? On the frontline? In Kiev without announcing that to Ukraine? As Russians are opening the mouth they lie. But mass-media in the West all are full of headlines that are repeating Kremlin's words about "67 prisoners" (from whom in the list 16 are well and live in Ukraine).
The way his hands are on the table is beyond over dramatic. Its comical and rather hard to take seriously.

They already know the plane had just dropped off drones from Iran and was returning to a base in Russia. No bodies, no clothing, on a couple of Russian guards for 65 prisoners ? They ALWAYS use half as many guards as prisoners. Plus the fireball is not from a passenger carrying plane with no seats in it (based on crash photos). Just another dirty trick from a dirty country losing a war they started.
Consider the source… the Russians sent the plane into an area where they knew it would get shot down.

Knowing Russian politics, they could have just shut it down themselves, like that having gotten rid of 65 Ukrainian fighters and having something to accuse Ukraine with and show them as barbarians in front of the world. They did it before. The world should stop caring what Russia is accusing anyone with by this point. It's a constant flow of lies and propaganda. A country that has broken so many international laws and is not taking any responsibility for that dears to accuse anyone at this point. With a leader, who's plan is to expand Russia's territory till the Baltic sea. It's a game for them – all this accusations and playing the victim. But there are naive citizens of other countries who believe them – it works on them. For the other ones, Russia playing that it is on the side of international low is a joke already.

It wasn't Ukraine's fault. Russia should have been protecting it better. Aren't they supposed to be one of the best militaries in the world? Don't tell me they couldn't have protected that plane if they wanted to. They're the ones who let those PoWs and 9 of their own die.
