Crimean crisis cannot be solved simply by supporting sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Anybody who live in Ukraine or Crimea knows that the issue is far more complex than what the news platforms generally report. Nevertheless, if you would like to know the solution, you should know that the presence of NATO and an ethno-linguistic power struggle have been playing out in entire Ukraine and Crimea for almost two decades, which led to creation of many far-right groups among Ukrainians and Russians.
It is sad and depressing that we collectively see this conflict like a football match, picking a side according to our ethnicity, religion or political orientation, and we generally want Ukraine wins the war. In truth, there is no winning in this war. We should be talking about possibility of a diplomatic solution to bring this sensless war to an end. That means we and our leaders need to demonstrate more wisdom and not try to liberate this territory, because liberation would have disastrous consequences for the long-term stability of Europe. If you examine closely the before and after aerial photos, there 's a lot more than 8 damaged Russian fighter jets as some media reported. 19 fighter jets before the explosion, and now it appears that possibly only 3 are not damaged! By my count 16 have been damaged. "Russian-occupied Crimea has become a new flash point in the war with Ukraine. Fresh satellite images have shown devastation from explosions two days ago at a Russian air base in the peninsula. It is still unconfirmed what caused the blasts. Meanwhile, both Ukrainian and Russian forces appear to be stuck in a deadlock at the front lines in the southern Kherson region, but Kyiv has said it is preparing to recapture it. While Russia has reinforced the Kherson region, Ukraine hopes the US rocket systems that arrived in July could boost their chances."
