Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Russian tactical nuclear weapons, set to be deployed in his country, would protect it from Western threats. “Take my word for it … They are preparing to invade Belarus, to destroy our country,” Lukashenko said in an annual address to lawmakers and government officials.

Lukashenko knows Putin has selected him as a nuclear suicide bomber. Hence his calls for an immediate cease fire in Ukraine.
Quite interesting to watch this video with english translation and another one from France with,yes, french subtitle. Each media are showing part of Lukashenko speech. In both case, there is ambiguity. In the french media, Lukashenko is asking for a truce and is talking about a way to be kind of a negociator. When he talked about the nuclear thing, you can read that he is in between the bark and the tree. This man is in a bad situation. One day he says something (Nato invaders…and a danger for a full scale war…a la Putin) and few hours after something different…I may be wrong but he choose is camp.
