At the end of the day, it’s Alec Baldwin’s responsibility. He had possession of the gun, he pointed it in an unsafe direction, and he pulled the trigger. Alec Baldwin killed this woman. There is no disputing the facts. This is not a mystery. Of course, there may be others civilly liable, but Alec Baldwin killed her. Not the prop girl, not the camera man, not the Uber eats driver.

She was the armorer for the set. It is her resposibility to check all weapons and amunition before accepting it onto the set. If it rattles its a dummy round.

Even with an empty co2 bb gun I still aim off somewhere and shoot it just in case someone loaded it up without me knowing. it’s about being as careful as possible with a gun, prop or not. This whole thing is just unfortunate
The set workers were shooting cans and that's how the live ammo made it into the gun
