Ryan Seacrest will be the new host of “Wheel of Fortune.” Seacrest, who is best known for “American Idol” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” will take the place of retiring host Pat Sajak.

Horrrrible choice.
He is not a Pat Sajak. Pat is calm in his demeanor that comes with older people, he is witty, and professional. Ryan is not the best fit. Ryan is too smiley, too young, too youthful, and far too energetic, and lacks grace, wit and is a drama king.
As if he needed another job or more money.

I like Vanna but she doesn’t fit the part of the host. Didn’t feel right when she took over that one time.
It's already been said here that Ryan has enough. Enough jobs in the business and enough money. Same old people keep getting the opportunities. Here's an idea for Ryan and others – say "No." When you've had a big meal at a restaurant, you're definitely full, and they offer you more, you say no. Or I take that 'more' and give it to someone who has less, like the homeless. But Ryan and others out there like him who are greedy, can't grasp the idea of letting others have a chance.

Maybe it was me, but I felt some shade thrown at Ryan. Vanna should have been given a chance to host the show.
10 to 1 you can rest assure his salary will be higher than Pat Sajak’s $15 million per year. And to think Vanna White has been making around $3 million a year since 2005 and has only received bonuses, not raises, during that time period. That's Hollywood – Men still rule.
