Lmao, it is alright to drive down sales by allowing homeless people to camp in front of a business, but now NOBODY wants to go into that business. How about you stop enabling people to be homeless by giving them a bunch of free stuff and paying them. How about you stop taking away the rights of actual property owners. It amazes me how well people in power have managed to successfully turn people against eachother as it pertains to homelessness. This guy, frustrated for whatever reasons at the homeless issue, has to directly interact with it daily in front of his business. This homeless person, simply a human being that somehow wound up where they are living on a freaking cold sidewalk. There should be concern for both and their issues, but in this case spraying a person with a hose in the middle of winter on the street because you are frustrated is vile. Look at how pleased he is with himself doing so.
It's crazy how I've seen people willing to cancel a person for yelling at a dog in a social media video, but stand up for someone spraying a human being with a water hose because he's a frustrated man child. Watch this video again and imagine it as a cold shaking dog. How outraged would you be? I won't even get into how this reminds me of Jim Crow and the hoses and German Sheppards people supported unleashing on black folk simply because they didn't want them there. This is disgusting. "Even though he may have technically committed a crime, what are we accomplishing in prosecuting." Wow. Imagine if they kept that same energy for everyone.

That there are more than 500,000 unhoused citizens in what is supposed to be "the greatest nation on earth" just points to the massive hypocrisy of how the Constitution is applied. That old white man standing there with a smug expression while he purposely does harm to another human being perfectly sums up America today. His comfort outweighs everyone else's. Of course he should be prosecuted. Instead of going to the city government with an attorney to register his complaints and make demands for unhoused folks to have help so that they don't camp in front of his gallery, he makes his feelings known buy assaulting someone. Entitled, selfish, mean-spirited, violent and so filled with Schadenfreude he is a greater blight to society than any person without means.

'Degrading and dehumanizing act', and she also said that this person has mental issues! Why not spend some or San Francisco money to help the homeless? to find a nice, warm, safe place to live. Why not spend all that money to encourage people with mental issues to get help? I do not agree with the way this man acted, but I think that the government of San Francisco is the main reason why people have been degraded and unhumanized living in the streets and having to experience all this humiliation.
He assaulted a helpless old lady, he needs to get hosed civilly and spend some time in the slammer.
But when homeless attack people they do not get arrested…very stupid city.

yes the business owner was wrong. and hey geniuses, loitering is also a crime. perhaps since you seem pretty obvious to that, i found it was ironically artsy or grand, that when you you were walking down the side walk of some nice looking historic brick building, there was low grade distasteful graffiti scarred over its walls.
