I was scammed out of $800 last year, it’s not fun. Don’t trust anyone!
Working for a bank, one of the most annoying thing is trying to help someone who’s obviously lying and we can tell they’re in scam.. continue to lie to get their funds released. It’s a terrible call once they can finally accept they’re being scammed.
Do not listen to anyone who tells you to lie to your bank.
You did not tell us how to protect ourselves against this scam.

They are spoofing the same numbers as the company now. Be very AWARE. Those same numbers that are legit are being spoofed (Duplicated of the original banks phone number they are calling you from) Just hang Up ASAP…. 🙄
First of all, your bank has your account information, so you don't have to give it to them. Second of all, if you get a call or text from someone claiming to be from a bank or Amazon, or some other type of company like that, just hang up and call the actual number that you can find yourself for that business. If it is actually that company trying to get a hold of you, anyone that picks up your call from you calling them will be able to help you. Please just slow down and think.
