Majority Leader Chuck Schumer praised the Senate for voting to pass a bill that would extend the debt ceiling for two years. Schumer said in a press conference, “We’ve saved the country from the scourge of default,” adding, “Default was the giant sword hanging over America’s head.”

I saw this Video just now as a lead to an article in the NYT front Page. If this issue was such a Big Moment in our History, one would not need to "read a script" to make your points. My gosh even a 2 star Lawyer or an average Salesman/ Sales woman can deliver a Closing point without script. Look at your audience in the eye, don't blink.
