  1. It would be extraordinary for humanity, if fossil fuels could be replaced by clean energy, although the general opinion of science is that it is too late, climate change is irreversible, thanks to the 1000 years of obscurantism that the church caused in another way. We would already be benefiting from nuclear nuclear fusion.

  2. its not limitless whats wrong with everybody it uses WATER as full and a lot of it to break even and FRESH WATER at that not salt water your exchanging one environmental problem for another think about all the rivers and lakes and then oceans drying up to power the whole world.

  3. This is revolutionary! I hope I see the positive effects of using fusion on my life. 🙏🏻🎉

  4. "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." Jesus Christ

We implore you on behalf of Christ: Be reconciled to God..
Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household

  5. What about the coal miners??

  6. Saying that this is a step towards electricity from fusion is like saying successfully climbing a step ladder is a step towards visiting the stars. Fusion research has always been grossly oversold.

  7. Knock knock knock….. “high I’m here from the government and I’m here to help”

  8. Thanks you Biden. Trump didn't do this.

  9. Lawrence Livermore Lab. named for a guy from Canton< South Dakota He built his first Cyclotron at South Dakota State before moving on to UC Berkely
Lasar ignition makes more sense than the Torus magnetic confinement method. However, Lasar ignition my require a fission power plant to provide all the energy needed.
No such thing as a perpetual motion machine – not even on the atomic scale.

  10. We just became a little less primitive as a species.

  11. Fossil fuel companies will try to Defund the research now because they will Iose Billions of dollars if they develop the technology.

  12. Wow ! So happy to live in these times!

  13. RED MUZZLERS SPANISH MURDERERS.

  14. Get me my fusion energy powered iron man boots and gauntlets yesterday!!!

  15. RIP fossil fuels grip on our country’s government

  16. Come on, you know the powers that be are going to feast off of this new knowledge. You know they are already coming together strategizing ways on how a few can still wreap off the many.

  17. The biggest invention since the car replaced the horse ! 🎈🎈🎈🎈

  18. God bless these wonderful, beautiful minds.

  19. The "by 2030" claim is complete horseshit. There's no way it'll be commercially available that fast given all the challenges scientists now face. It will most likely be like 50 years so by 2070.

  20. Impressive and historic but still over 50 yrs before it’s commercially available. By then oil reserves would have already dried up, electric cars will dominate the roads, and solar will be on every rooftop. Wish they could have it ready in 10 yrs then it would really make a difference!

  21. LET THE FUTURE COME!!!! USA USA!!!

  22. I bet the fossil fuel oligarchs are stressing the hell out right now. And adding a drill to a toolbox comment was pretty stupid.

  23. Waiting for the anti science lobby to try poopoo this …they will say things like it's not safe, etc etc and the will try and squash this by buying off politicians.

  24. Unlimited poooooooooweeeer !!!!!

  25. The U.S. government should immediately take over the project, because if they don't these people will intentionally let it fall in the wrong hands just to pit countries against each other and then they can make money in the middle

  26. Press Conference of mixed messages ,she said they worked with partners around the world ,but then she said this is what it looks like when America leads, kind of a insult to the partnership, then she mentioned the benefits of clean energy to fight global warming, then she brought up weapons and defense, it sound like the world won't be getting the technology ,nothing but a play to get Gov. funding

  27. Anything the government does definitely isn't going to be fast

  28. I would comment on the possibility of maybe being a type one civilization…then I read the stuff on Twitter and then am more convinced of our impending doom

  29. This is awesome but what will the oil companies do about this?

  30. I hope they don’t get earth blown up

  31. I don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but there's always a downside to everything so what's the bad side of this?

  32. Only a matter of time before western governments turn it into a weapon of mass destruction.
