In Scranton, Pennsylvania, a historic U.S. Army ammunition plant is running almost round the clock to produce thousands of rounds of shells every month. All part of an intensive push to provide critical ammunition for Ukraine’s fight against Russia. NBC News’ Jesse Kirsch reports.

NATO needs to come out with a statement that any attack on Europe’s largest Nuclear Power Plant would be considered as an attack by Russia.

Although the concern that we could not sustain ourselves in a protracted conflict due to this issue is valid, it ignores the fact that if we entered a "Declared War" footing, the industrial capacities would do as they have in the past and start producing what is needed instead of what is wanted… This cannot be done overnight, but it can be accomplished in a shorter time than many might think possible…
It's all heroic chest beating, but the ammo produced by all allies is STILL not enough by far to feed Ukraines' ammo hunger.
If we went to war, the Federal government would enact the DPA. Time / speed could be bought with money.

I can guarantee you, that the US has enough ammo to fight at least two wars at the same time in different parts of the world. There are thousands of miles of ammo depots in the sierra Nevada alone. We are literally disposing of old stock and defeating Russia at the same time.
the US can convert our industries over night to a "War Economy" and out produce everyone combined if a war was declared. So im not to concerned about our readiness. Slava Ukraine!
