Avi Loeb is a crackpot.
I personally doubt that so-called UFOs or UAPs are likely to be determined, ultimately, to be the product of extraterrestrial activity. However, one potentially testable hypothesis may bear investigation.
Some reports of UAPs involve apparent aerial objects capable of sudden changes in direction and speed, maneuvers which seem to be impossible because we would expect objects executing such maneuvers to tear themselves apart. These reports are the most interesting because they seem to be consistent with one another, meaning that it's possible different observers are describing the same thing. (16th century observers on the West Coast of Africa and the East Coast of South America would have given similar descriptions of European sailing ships, because they would have been describing vessels based on the same technology.)
Even though I personally suspect that such UAPs will ultimately be found to be software glitches or some other mundane phenomena (a software glitch would produce consistent results when the circumstances triggering the glitch are repeated), no one has excluded the possibility that these are objects powered by Alcubierre-type drives. Physicist Miguel Alcubierre speculated that faster-than-light travel might be achieved by an object that subjectively remained stationary and changed its position relative to other objects by manipulating space-time around it (contracting space in one direction and expanding space in the opposite direction). Because a hypothetical Alcubierre-driven object does not itself move, the speed of light is not a limitation and there are no relativistic effects (such as time dilation) inside the object as it changes position relative to other objects.
It seems that a corollary for a hypothetical Alcubierre drive would be that, because the object does not subjectively move, but instead manipulates space-time around it, momentum and inertia would not have to be taken into account in its maneuvering.
Nothing appears to say that a hypothetical Alcubierre type drive couldn't be used at sub-light speeds and couldn't be used in an atmosphere. Thus, hypothesizing that some UAPs may be objects employing Alcubierre-type drives, the hypothesis may be testable by examining data that is either in hand or reasonably obtainable through future observations.
Hypothesizing the existence of an Alcubierre-type drive enabling an object to change position relative to other objects by manipulating space-time around it rather than by propelling itself through space-time, it seems likely that the manipulations of space-time would create distortions that are broadly similar to gravitational lensing (which occurs because of the way gravity distorts space-time). Such distortions may be observable by studying images of UAPs. Of course, distortions that extend millimeters out from the object would be more difficult to observe than distortions that extend inches or feet out from the object (meaning that a negative result may simply be a call for the use of imaging at greater resolution). In addition, where an Alcubierre-driven object presents itself as a shiny sphere or ellipsoid, the shininess could be studied to determine if it is conventionally reflecting or if it is displaying distortions (such as “reflecting” things behind or to the side of it) which are broadly similar to gravitational lensing. This might be the case if, for example, the apparent shiny surface were not a physical surface but were instead a manifestation of an edge between normal space-time and the space-time manipulations of an Alcubierre-type drive. (In other words, the shiny "surface" could itself be the observable distortion of space-time caused by an Alcubierre-type drive within the object, as could a dark "surface.")
This as an exercise in thought and not an opinion about the origin or properties of any UAP, or about the practical feasibility of Alcubierre drives.

Loeb reminds me of Grover Krantz, the biological anthropologist who was convinced that flimsiest 'evidence' was proof of Bigfoot, and that he was too smart to be fooled.
There is no alien intelligence visiting us. Not from space, not from other dimensions, not from the future. Sorry. Time travel is impossible, travel between dimensions/universes is impossible, and space is too big and deep in time for anything out there to find us, much less arrive here before we're extinct for millions of years. And there is simply no good, convincing evidence for any of it. Show us an actual good-sized piece of spacecraft, a dead alien, anything that can be taken seriously.

Don't bother going back, the governments of the world are fighting to find the remaining debris, that is unless they haven't already been there and cleaned the area of any large craft years ago.

Those spherules are probably from a volcanic eruption. Look at their location. This area of the Pacific is filled with volcanic activity. To say they're from an interstellar craft is wild speculation.
